A wide beaded Sylyanka is a traditional ancient adornment of Ukrainian women. This necklace is made in the openwork strip that fits around the neck and and fastens at the back.

Materials: Czech glass beads.

Colors and geometric patterns for Sylyanka in Ukraine were borrowed from embroidery patterns characteristic of a particular area. The traditional ornaments of beaded adornment were: geometric rhombus with simple or complicated contours, triangles with branches at the corners and zigzags – symbols of infinity.
