This table spoon is made on the basis of archaeological excavations near Berestechko (a city in the Volyn region of Ukraine). Similar spoons were used by ukrainian cossacks in the 17th century.
The spoon can be used for cold and hot dishes, and also as a spatula when cooking in a pan. The wooden spoon will not scratch the teflon coating.
They were carved from acacia wood. For centuries, this tree has been used to make kitchen utensils.
