This woolen blanket is a traditional Carpathian product. We call it “Lizhnyk” — from the word what means “to lye down”. We have different colors in assortment. You can specify colors and pattern when ordering or write to us by email or messenger.

There are two types of such blankets — Brushed and not. As you can see in the photo, the combed blanket has a long pile and looks softer. To create this fluffy effect the master simply takes a special brush and combs the blanket. Lints may still fall from such a blanket during use, but this is temporary.

Combed blankets look more festive and elegant. However, everyone chooses according to their taste.

Woolen blankets are thick, heavy and warm. They create an extra cozy effect in your room. Thanks to the natural materials the blanket does not electrify, retains its appearance for a long time.

It is believed, that woolen products have a positive effect on the human body and spirit. Covering yourself with a Carpathian blanket is like wrapping yourself in the care of Mother Earth. Hide yourself in this blanket, close your eyes and imagine the crackling of wood in the stove, the energy and power of the Carpathian mountains – take this time to feel deep harmony and fulfillment.

*The production technology involves felting the finished product in a special barrel. Therefore, the finished product is reduced in size. The craftsman makes a larger product and controls the reduction process. However, it is too early to guess 100%. The dimensions of the blanket may differ by a couple of centimeters. However, you can always specify the size of the ready-made bucket.
